Costume Design

Creating complementary costumes for my performances has always been part of my work:

Creating costumes that tell a story and support and add towards the story of the movement happening on stage.

In 2019 I did an apprenticeship with Rotterdam fashion icon Isabell Schulz and got to be part of the making of an entire collection for Amsterdam Pride.

During the Covid pandemic, when all public performance went on hold, I took several online courses for made-to-measure tailoring, excited to explore the possibilities both for my own work but also to being able to create for other people as well.

I have been teaching costume workshops for Codarts Circus Arts, designed and created the costumes for an entire show (Captain Frodo’s Family Freak Show 2022) commissioned by Circusstad Festival, did the costumes for Julia Campistany’s show ‘Peluda’(2023) and got to create costumed for a number of solo performer.

I have limited time slots available throughout the year for costume comissions.
